Cover Poll

Inquiring Minds Want to Know...

I don't know about the rest of you, but my excitement is mounting as Under A Texas Star gets closer and closer to publication. The contract is signed. My advance has been received. Now, after being consulted on the earlier versions, Imajin Books has sent me the two finalist for the cover art.

Which one do you think should be the cover of my upcoming mystery/romance/western?

After flipping a coin, this design was designated Cover A. Below is Cover B.

There's a poll in the sidebar of this blog where you can vote for your favourite. Get your vote and comments in by April 15, 2011 and I'll pass it along to Imajin Books. They'll make the final choice, but your input might sway their decision. If nothing else, this inquiring mind wants to know what you think.

Comments

  1. I like Cover A because it combines all the elements: a kind of ghostly rider in the background, with the romantic couple in the foreground, and of course the western setting. (Although I do also like cover B but for obvious strictly female reasons.)

  2. My uncle liked the B cover because the man was looking straight at him. I thought he'd be put off by the bare chest, but that didn't effect him one way or the other.

  3. Cover B repeats itself, like deje vu all over again. It would work if the watermark was of the woman only, but to repeat the man...I mean, I know men are vain, but...
Congrats on your upcoming release, Alison!
